Meeting Minutes

PRESENT
Councilmembers: Verna Griffin, Chair; Joe Duffie and Kathy Hougady
Staff: Jack Pace, Minnie Dhaliwal, Rhonda Berry and Kimberly Matej

CALL TO ORDER: Committee Chair Griffin called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

No presentations.
II. BUSINESS AGENDA
A. Zonina and Subdivision Codes: Proposed Housekeepina Amendments
Staff is seeking approval from the Community Affairs and Parks Committee to forward on several Zoning
and Subdivision Code amendments. Some of the changes are routine housekeeping items, as well as
policy and technical updates and changes.
On Committee recommendation, the items listed below will be forwarded to the Planning Commission for
detailed review and recommendation. After Planning Commission review, items will return to the
Community Affairs and Parks Committee prior to proceeding to full Council for review, discussion and
approval.
1. Churches (religious institutions) conditional use.
2. Update landscaping chapter add clarity and help streamline permits.
3. Update of permit application types and procedures.
4. Other miscellaneous code amendments.
5. Code interpretations and suggested codifying.
UNANIMOUS APPROVAL. FORWARD TO PLANNING COMMISSION FORE REVIEW AND
RECOMMENDATION.
III. MISCELLANEOUS
Meeting adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
