Director; Nick Olivas, Fire Chief; Bruce Fletcher, Parks Recreation Director; and
Kimberly Matej, Legislative Analyst
The work session consisted of presentations and discussions regarding the Development Agreement for
Tukwila South as well as respective development regulations. The Tukwila South project will encompass
the annexation of approximately 250 acres to the City, and the development of nearly 500 acres of land.
Council identified one item as request for additional information during the Work Session:

Provide a timeline identifying and demonstrating when the City will have the funding
to cover the anticipated debt service for Southcenter Parkway (including but not
limited to when bonds would be sold).
In regards to Section 8 of the Development Agreement, provide examples of items
the Mayor can change /modify in the agreement verses things that need to go to full
Council for approval.
