His Inspection Report #3 directed the Contractor to construct the walls around Room 308, Hallway to be 1 -hour 'rated walls. 2. Ray's direction was apparently based on his understanding that Room 308 was a portion of the rated corridor shown on the Core & Shell drawings for this building (Permit #D99 - 0006). 3. In actuality, the core and shell drawings show only a potential future corridor that would be required whenever there were multiple tenants on a floor. To accommodate that situation, the bathroom walls and other core walls facing the corridor were constructed as 1 -hour rated or higher. 4. ICG Communications is a single tenant occupying an entire floor. In the exiting plan for their space, there is no requirement for rated corridors on this floor. The approved plans for this project do not require any new walls around Room 308 to be rated.
