This specifically related to the presence of a 10- foot -wide electrical transmission easement across the above - referenced McDonald's parcel. Your concerns related to whether there are underground facilities within that easement that may conflict with the proposed installation of the grease interceptor. We researched this and found the easement document, which was recorded in 1962 for Seattle City Light. Based on a visual site inspection, it appears that the only utility within this easement is a small overhead power line. There do not appear to be underground facilities at the site. We also discussed this with Seattle City Light personnel to see if they had any record of underground facilities. Their records do not show any underground facilities, and they suggested that we have an underground utility locate service confirm this. At this time, we suggest leaving the grease interceptor plan as proposed, since there may not be any underground facilities. Prior to construction we will have an underground utility locate service determine whether any underground utilities exist in the area before the installation of the grease interceptor.
