Interlocal Agreement <br />For Temporary Custody p 2 of 8 <br />(A) Identify those sentenced offenders for commitment to Yakima County jail, <br />(B) Transfer those identified offenders to the Renton jail no more than 72 <br />hours in advance of the scheduled transfer of inmates. <br />(C) Provide to Renton the commitment papers for each Identified Offender <br />(D) Make payment of the billed amounts by the end of the month following the <br />billing month. Said payment will be made to the City of Renton Finance Department as <br />indicated below <br />(E) Pay for medical care that is provided for Identified Offenders who are <br />transferred to an outside medical facility <br />(F) Provide to Renton a means by which Renton can obtain authonty from <br />Tukwila to medically furlough the Identified Offender should that offender need medical <br />attention from an outside medical facility <br />(G) Provide a supply of medications for those Identified Offenders who are <br />taking medications at the time of transfer Said supply must be for 7 days PLUS the <br />number of days the Identified Offender will be held in the Renton Jail. <br />(H) Reimburse Renton for any medications purchased for Identified Offenders <br />if the supply identified above is not provided. <br />(I) Maintain Insurance as set out below <br />SECTION 3. Des Moines' Obligations <br />In consideration of the promises of Renton, set forth herein, Des Moines promises <br />as follows. <br />(A) Identify those sentenced offenders for commitment to Yakima County jail, <br />(B) Transfer those identified offenders to the Renton jail no more than 72 <br />hours in advance of the scheduled transfer of inmates. <br />(C) Provide to Renton the commitment papers for each Identified Offender <br />(D) Make payment of the billed amounts by the end of the month following the <br />bilking month.
