PURPOSE INTER -LOCAL AGREEMENT AMONG THE PARTICIPATING LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES FORMING A REGIONAL AUTOMATED INFORMATION NETWORK (RAIN) n&-o7-07ge The participating agencies desire to enter into an Inter -Local Agreement (ILA) to establish and maintain a Regional Automated Information Network (RAIN) that connects automated records management systems to 1 Protect the public by assisting law enforcement in solving and preventing cremes and acts of terrorism. 2. Protect law enforcement officers by giving them information important to their safety while out on our streets and highways. 3 Connect to other parts of the Cnminal Justice System for increased effectiveness and efficiency 4 Connect to other regional, state, and national information systems.
