I
am in fact surrounded by commercial /industrial facilities. I moved here because I liked a bit of rural feel in
my immediate neighborhood. I do now want any more industrial build up, which will distroy a good feel it
so far maintains (with enough trees still standing)
2 1 follow the recommendation of "ride bus, not drive a car" and go downtown, UW, Seattle Center, etc by
bus #124, 1 am satisfied with the bus service but have problem of finding parking space near my bus stop.
It is a bit far to walk from my house. Despite much open space on or by E Marginal Way, no parking space
as the area are occupied by industrial /commercial businesses. And, Boeing takes up such huge open
space and their parking is near empty all the time. Is there anything the city can do to rectify this situation?
There is a Park and Ride, but going north from 112th, which is the last of one bus zone, I cannot use it.
Please make Tukwila a bit more residents friendly city.
Thank you,
Yukiko Tanaka
11685 44th Av S
Yuki Tanaka foxytanaka @yahoo.com
