KWAY ►$� <br />MASTER SIGN <br />PROGRAM <br />7. Building Signs <br />a. <br />General Requirements <br />i. Building signs shall be in constructed in accordance with the following: <br />1. Illuminated trim - capped or open pan individual channel letters with painted <br />returns. <br />2. Signs must be flush mounted. Decorative backer panels are acceptable as an <br />integral part of the sign design. <br />3. Neon or L.E.D. illumination is acceptable. <br />4. A combination of channel letters and "capsule" signs are acceptable. <br />5. Logos, crests, shields or symbols are permitted. <br />6. Building signs shall not project more than twenty four inches (24 ") beyond the <br />building fascia. <br />7. All signs, bolts, fasteners and clips shall be of glass, plastic, hot dipped galvanized <br />iron, stainless steel, aluminum, brass or bronze. No black iron of any type will be <br />permitted. <br />8. It shall be the sign contractor's responsibility to secure sign to fascia in a method so <br />as not to create a hazard to the public. <br />9. All penetrations of the fascia shall be made waterproof by using gaskets and <br />sealant. <br />10. The Tenants shall be responsible for any damage caused by the sign contractor, <br />including roof and wall Teaks, and parapet wall damage. <br />No labels will be permitted on the exposed surface of signs except those required <br />by local ordinance and, if required, shall be in an inconspicuous location. <br />12. No exposed conduit will be permitted. <br />13. All electrical signs shall bear the U.L. label. <br />14. Electrical service to all signs shall be from Tenant's service. <br />ii. Sign Area and Quantities Allowed <br />1. Tenant sign square footage and quantities must be in compliance with the Master <br />Sign Program Exhibits D and E. <br />11. <br />8. Secondary Signs <br />a. Tenants are allowed Secondary Signs as determined by the Landlord or Landlord's Agent in the <br />Lease Agreement within the limits set forth herein: <br />i. Menu Signs — Internally illuminated or non - illuminated free - standing or wall mounted <br />menu signs are allowed. Any one menu shall not exceed eighteen (18) square feet. Signs <br />shall be placed in a manner that will not impair or obstruct automobile or pedestrian <br />traffic. <br />ii. ATM /Directory Signs — Internally illuminated or non - illuminated free - standing or wall <br />mounted ATM /Directory signs are allowed. Any one sign shall not exceed eight (8) square <br />feet. Signs shall be placed in a manner that will not impair or obstruct automobile or <br />pedestrian traffic. <br />iii. Directional Signs — Internally illuminated or non - illuminated free - standing or wall mounted <br />Directional signs are allowed. Any one sign shall not exceed eight (8) square feet.
