Historically, Tukwila has had more multi - family homes than single - <br />family homes and more rentals than owner - occupied homes. The percentage of single family homes has increased <br />over the last twenty years to be closer to the percentage of multifamily units due to a lack of new multifamily housing <br />development and the incremental construction of new single - family homes. <br />14 <br />
