Work Session Minutes — 12/11/14 <br />Following the public hearing there was a brief work session on The Comp Plan Introduction and Vision. <br />Staff asked the Commission if they had feedback or concerns on the strikethrough underline suggested <br />edits provided. <br />Suggested edits from the Commission: <br />• In the Vision section, change the second sentence and the first sentence around, under Prides and <br />Place. And following the word appreciate add the word, "participate" in that same sentence <br />• In the Introduction section, page 3, second sentence under, plan objectives, staff needs to work on <br />the verbiage <br />• At the top of page 5 following the language, water entering Puget Sound add, "Duwamish River" <br />Director's Report <br />• Reminder joint CC and PC 1/8/15 and 2/26/15 at TCC <br />• There is a training budget for the PC to attend the National Planning Conference in Seattle, <br />April 18 -22 <br />• Staff asked the Commission for comments of any concerns with the Washington Place project <br />• Commissioner Alford brought up time limits and public testimony structure, Commissioner <br />McLeod asked if the timer could be used during testimony <br />Adjourned at 8:25 <br />Director's Report: <br />Submitted by: Wynetta Bivens <br />Planning Commission Secretary <br />Adopted: 4/23/15 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />
