Luis Gallegos <br />• Jan — it appears that tent city will be returning to Tukwila sometime before the end of the <br />year. They always need donations of blankets, towels, and cash. Parking lot at the Riverton <br />Church often lets people stay in cars in the parking lot. <br />• Jerry — Retired police dogs, he was not aware that the officer has to pay all costs for the dog <br />after retirement. Jerry attended the Valley Communications Citizens' Academy. <br />• Deputy Chief Linton — Just returned from the Problem Oriented Policing Conference in <br />Portland, it is an international conference. The TPD detectives presented on the operation to <br />close down the hotels. Then he traveled to Chicago for the IACP Conference where the <br />President's Report on 21st Century Policing was the theme.
