Plant materials shall consist of the following: <br />a. Trees: a mix of deciduous and evergreen trees. <br />b. One shrub per four linear feet, excluding curb cuts. <br />c. Groundcover. <br />D. The purpose of Type III landscaping is to provide extensive visual separation along <br />property lines between highly incompatible development, such as warehousing and <br />residential uses. <br />2. Plant materials shall consist of the following: <br />a. Trees consisting of at least 50% evergreen along the applicable property line (75% <br />along property line adjacent to residential uses). <br />b. Privacy screening utilizing evergreen shrubs, screening walls or fences (up to 7 feet <br />tall). <br />c. Groundcover. <br />E. Parking Lot Landscaping: This landscaping is required to mitigate adverse impacts <br />created by parking lots, such as noise, glare, stormwater run -off, and increased heat and <br />to improve their physical appearance. <br />1. Trees shall be evenly distributed throughout the parking lot. Planting in continuous, <br />landscaped planting strips between rows of parking is encouraged. Landscape islands: <br />a. Landscape islands must be a minimum of six feet wide, exclusive of overhang, and a <br />minimum of 100 square feet in area.
