Give brief, complete description of your proposal, including the proposed uses and <br />the size of the project and site. There are several questions later in this checklist that <br />ask you to describe certain aspects of your proposal. You do not need to repeat those <br />answers on this page. <br />The proposal is to repeal the current landscaping code in TMC 18.52 and <br />replace it with new landscaping regulations. The major revisions include <br />adding required parking lot landscaping in the Light Industrial, Heavy <br />Industrial and Manufacturing Industrial Center Light and Heavy districts; <br />permitting flexibility in where landscaping is located in the industrial <br />districts, including allowing clustering of landscaping; providing guidance <br />on the planting of trees in the street frontage, soil preparation specifications <br />tree standards, and procedures for landscape modifications, including_ <br />clustering of landscaping, use of bioretention facilities as landscaping, <br />modifications to existing landscaping and credit for retaining of significant <br />trees. The new landscaping code identifies violations and establishes <br />monetary penalties as well as the number of replacement trees required. <br />11. Location of the proposal. Give sufficient information for a person to understand the <br />precise location of your proposed project, including a street address, if any, the tax <br />lot number, and section, township, and range. If a proposal would occur over a range <br />of area, provide the range or boundaries of the site(s). Provide a legal description, <br />site plan, vicinity map, and topographic map, if reasonably available. While you <br />should submit any plans required by the agency, you are not required to duplicate <br />maps or detailed plans submitted with any permit applications related to this <br />checklist. <br />City -wide <br />12. Does the proposal lie within an area designated on the City's Comprehensive Land <br />Use Policy Plan Map as environmentally sensitive? <br />To the extent any project site contains identified sensitive areas, yes. <br />The City's Sensitive Area regulations found in TMC 18.45 or the City's <br />shoreline regulations found in TMC 18.44 would continue to apply in <br />addition to any landscaping requirements in TMC 18.52. <br />SEPA Checklist <br />
