For so <br />long as a Northern City has a contract in effect for sheltering dogs and cats with the <br />Progressive Animal Welfare Society in Lynnwood (yAVYS)' <br />1,juzuidxz�-tbe County will not shelter dogs and cats picked uy within the <br />boundaries of such City(s), except in emergent circumstances and when the PAWS <br />Lynm*ovd shelter im not available. Dogs and <br />cats picked up by the County within such City(s) will be transferred by the County <br />to the PAWS �sbc|mrboLynnwood zahcU,r <br />care, which will be provided and funded solely through separate contracts between <br />each Northern City and PAWS, nd the County <br />will refer residents o( that City t"pAVVS ", <br />abck,dnqmr,ico.The County nUlprovide obd e <br />�e,^r,iceok,za,u*�a otbertbun <br />dogs and cats that are picked op within the boundaries "f Northern Cities <br />contracting with PAW oo the same terms and <br />cond/honathat such obek do <br />shelter to other Contracting Parties. <br />Except ae provided bn this Section, the County io under no obligation /^drop <br />animals picked up in any Contracting City at any shelter other than the County <br />shelter in Kent. <br />4.
