Grant <br />Staff updated the Committee on an opportunity to apply for funding for KaBOOM! to install a <br />playground valued around $85,000 in Cascade View Community Park. The application has been <br />submitted and if approved, the project will be installed on July 22, 2017. If approved, the park <br />will be supplemented with $8,500 from the Parks and Recreation Capital Improvement Program <br />funding. DISCUSSION ONLY. <br />III. MISCELLANEOUS <br />Mr. Werle addressed the committee with concerns about privately owned landscaping encroaching <br />into the City's right -of -way, such as tree branches hanging low over public sidewalks. He feels that <br />the City does not proactively enforce this enough.
