I A FOR (TRADC-VULMEM0 <br />Page 6 <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />Each department will identify funding for this program within their existing budget. As mentioned <br />above, each department is expected to provide at least one job shadow or internship <br />opportunity, school year or summer, per year. We estimate that interns will receive between $11 <br />and $15 per hour. During the school year, students will work up to 20 hours per week for up to <br />nine weeks. During the summer, students will work up to 30 hours per week for up to six weeks. <br />This results in a maximum cost of an internship of $2,700.
