A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, REJECTING ALL BIDS SUBMITTED <br /> FOR THE MAJOR MAINTENANCE OF 3 BRIDGES PROJECT. <br /> WHEREAS, sealed bids were solicited for the Major Maintenance of 3 Bridges Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, a bid was received from one bidder and was publicly opened and read aloud on <br /> April 5, 2017; and <br /> WHEREAS, a budget was set for the construction of the Major Maintenance of 3 Bridges <br /> Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, the low bid received was over the budgeted amount for construction of the Major <br /> Maintenance of 3 Bridges Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City reserved the right to reject all bids in its call for bids, and RCW 35.23.352 <br /> provides for the rejection of any or all bids by resolution of the City Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City wishes to reject all bids due to budget limitations; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, <br /> HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> The bid received on April 5, 2017, for the Major Maintenance of 3 Bridges Project is hereby <br /> rejected due to budget limitations. <br /> PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a <br /> Regular Meeting thereof this day of 12017. <br /> ATTEST/AUTHENTICATED: <br /> Christy O'Flaherty, MMC, City Clerk Dennis Robertson, Council President <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM BY: <br /> Filed with the City Clerk: <br /> Passed by the City Council: <br /> Resolution Number: <br /> Rachel B.
