A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, REJECTING ALL BIDS SUBMITTED <br />FOR THE 2017 OVERLAY AND REPAIR PROGRAM PROJECT. <br />WHEREAS, sealed bids were solicited for the 2017 Overlay and Repair Program Project; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, four bids were received and publicly opened and read aloud on April 19, 2017; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, a budget was set for the construction of the 2017 Overlay and Repair Program <br />Project; and <br />WHEREAS, the low bid received was over the budgeted amount for construction of the <br />2017 Overlay and Repair Program Project; and <br />WHEREAS, the City reserved the right to reject all bids in its call for bids, and RCW <br />35.23.352 provides for the rejection of any or all bids by resolution of the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to reject all bids due to budget limitations; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, <br />HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />All bids received on April 19, 2017, for the 2017 Overlay and Repair Program Project are <br />hereby rejected due to budget limitations. <br />PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a <br />Regular Meeting thereof this day of 2017. <br />ATTEST/AUTHENTICATED: <br />Christy O'Flaherty, MMC, City Clerk Dennis Robertson, Council President <br />Filed with the City Clerk: <br />Passed by the City Council: <br />Resolution Number: <br />WAWord Processing\Resolutions\Reject bids for 2017 Overlay and Repair Program Project 4-25-17 <br />DS:bjs Page 1 of 2 <br />W <br />
