The Chief went to a class out of <br />state. <br /> <br /> <br />We have an officer who is very well educated in de-escalation training and <br />dealing with persons in crisis. <br /> <br /> <br />TPD is putting on a force options training for all officers. <br /> <br /> <br />This training is heavily based on scenarios <br /> <br /> <br />There will be guidance/policies developed to assist officers in making those <br />decisions. <br /> <br />th <br /> <br />July 4 summary <br /> <br /> <br />Prior to the event there was education <br /> <br /> <br />Officer paired with fire fighter to go into areas with high numbers of <br />complaints. <br /> <br /> <br />This was the second year for this type of pro-active patrol <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Boards and Commissions Handbook – Ethics training, as specified in the handbook at <br />Sept. meeting. Boyd and Officer Valdez about number of calls <br />at the Church. It was a good problem solving session and she appreciates how <br />they helped with ideas. <br /> <br /> <br />Chris – Squatter bill summary <br /> <br /> <br />Jerry – Hours for Touch a Truck – answer: 9am to 1pm Sat, July 29.
