1. Grants are within the designated funding amounts and have a high certainty of success: <br />o Applicants who have identified parcels for planting on maps (please provide with <br />application) and have property owner permission <br />o Projects should be able to be completed with the grant award or in combination <br />with other funds already in hand. <br />2. The projects must not be required as mitigation for other activities. <br />3. The ReGreen the Green fund applications must be consistent with the WRIA 9 Salmon <br />I-labitat Plan. <br />4. Projects must be completed within two years of award. <br />Who Can Apply <br />For all grant programs, the applicants must be one of the following: <br />• Private non-profit corporation (501(c)3 status) <br />• Tribe <br />• Local government <br />• School <br />How to Apply <br />If you are interested in malting a request for a grant, please e-mail a copy of the grant application <br />and supporting documentation to karen.bergeron(�z?kingcountv.tzov. Proposals submitted by email <br />must be less than I OMB (megabytes). Please indicate in the subject line that you are seeking <br />funding for the ReGreen the Green grant program. <br />• Grant application and supporting documentation: <br />o 2018 CWM Grant Application - please submit as a Microsoft Word document <br />o 2018 CWM Budget Table - please submit as a Microsoft Excel document <br />o 2018 CWM Policies and Program Overview <br />Be sure to include in your project description the following items: <br />• The project or program scope, budget (including any leveraged funds) and <br />proposed schedule; <br />• Description of the salmon habitat, stewardship, and/or water quality <br />improvements that will result; <br />• Description of your certainty that the project will be successful <br />Grant Applications are due by 5 pm on April 24, 2018.
