The City of Tukwila Human Services Department will continue to serve as fiscal <br />administrator for the cities of Tukwila, SeaTac, Des Moines and Covington. If granted, each <br />City will be designated $25,875. In 2017, contractors served 19 unduplicated households in <br />Tukwila.UNANIMOUS APPROVAL. FORWARD TO MAY 7, 2018 REGULAR CONSENT <br /> <br />AGENDA. <br /> <br />Resolution: Adopting Tukwila Municipal Arts Plan <br />B. <br /> <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of a resolution that would adopt a Tukwila Municipal Arts <br />Plan. The Plan was developed with input from the community and serves as a conceptual <br />framework and strategic approach to art in the City. An accompanying implementation plan <br />includes a draft list of projects and cultural events that could link to the focus areas identified <br />in the Plan. The four theme areas identified in the Plan are the River, Tukwila International <br />Boulevard, Southcenter District, and Tukwila Village. To begin implementing the Plan, staff is <br />recommending the hiring of Artists-in-Residence to work on projects at Tukwila International <br />Boulevard and the River. Funding for art projects comes from eligible capital funds that are <br />transferred to the Municipal Arts Fund per TMC 2.30.050. UNANIMOUS APPROVAL. <br />FORWARD TO MAY 14, 2018 COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE. <br /> <br />Grant Application: <br />C. <br /> <br />Staff is seeking Committee approval to apply for Recreation Conservation Office Washington <br />Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) grant funding to purchase property on South 116 <br />th <br />Street along the Green River, due by March 5, 2018. The current property owner has expressed <br />enthusiastic interest in having his property help meet riverbank restoration needs and provide <br />recreational opportunities. The property is located in close proximity to City major capital <br /> <br />
