The entrance to the site, building and individual <br />unit creates a transition between the outside public <br />world and a successively less public inner world. <br />Living units, with a graceful transition between the <br />outside and inside, are more tranquil than those which <br />open directly off the street or parking area. The <br />experience of entering a building influences the <br />perception of interior spaces.
