PC Hearing Minutes <br />June 23, 2011 <br />have communicated with staff that they are really interested in some amenities. The rezone will <br />make it easier to include this property in future large scale development projects. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommended approval of the rezone from Manufacturing Industrial Center /Heavy (MIC /H) to <br />Light Industrial (LI). <br />Staff addressed questions from the Commission. <br />TESTIMONY: <br />There was no public testimony. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Staff noted that a letter was received from the applicant in support of the request. Staff pointed out a <br />correction in the applicant's letter; (CI) should have been (LI). <br />The PC deliberated. <br />COMMISSIONER HUNDTOFTE MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE LOII -001 AND LOII -002 <br />WITH STAFF'S FINDINGS, CONCLUSION, AND RECOMMENDATION, AND TO FORWARD <br />THE RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL FOR A PUBLIC HEARING AND THEIR <br />DECISION. COMMISSIONER SHUMATE SECONDED THE MOTION.
