COPCAB Survey Project <br />Topics/Questions to be discussed <br />1. Is there a clear purpose for the survey? Will respondents know what it is? <br />2. What incentive do respondents have to make the effort to complete the survey? <br />3. Can the "app" translate all (or most common) of the languages spoken in Tukwila without <br />making translation errors? <br />4. Will there be a print version for respondents that do not/will not use an electronic "app"? <br />5. How will the survey be administered? (possibilities include) <br />- Door-to-door <br />- Tukwila CH21 and website <br />- Tukwila City Hall <br />- Tukwila Community Center <br />- Retail stores i.e. Saars, drug stores <br />- Library <br />- Utility Company offices <br />- Light Rail station <br />- Retail stores <br />- Restaurants incl. fast food <br />- Starbucks <br />- Golf Course <br />- Churches <br />- Other <br />6. How long will it take to; <br />- create the survey? <br />- create the "app"? <br />- Test to ensure accurate translations to other languages and no cultural problems? <br />7. What kind of assistance will be provided to respondents that need language or technical help? <br />8. Who can assist with administering surveys? <br />- DECA (or similar) students <br />- Other (high school or local college) students <br />- Police explorers <br />- COPCAB members <br />- TIBAC members <br />- Citizen volunteers <br />- City employees (volunteering) or paid, such as police officers <br />9. Can we have promotional materials i.e. business cards, doorknob hangars (?), flyers, posters? <br />10. Review and possibly revise the survey questions from the draft Roger provided. <br />11. Review the previous survey for "good" questions that can be used in this survey <br />12. Establish a realistic time frame for the project. <br />13. How will we (or will we) verify that the survey was completed by a Tukwila resident (and only <br />one survey)? <br />
