TIS has put together an app
for use with homeless issues. The CLO and CPT teams have been
busy up at Foster HS. They are also developing cultural awareness
training for the entire dept. Have been doing a lot of emphasis at the
Villages at South Station and also at the mall.
Professional Standards is working to get online reporting up and
running for TPD. Implementing an internal investigation tracking
software called AIM. Both should be going online with this sometime
in May.
Questions:
Does the rape kit law affect TPD? It does not affect Tukwila nearly as
hard as other agencies because we keep more up to date and are a
smaller department.
