Title or Addressee <br />Date <br />Page 2 <br /> What about taking the word “malice” out of police officer <br />accountability legislation? There was some sort of negotiation <br />between the association of Sheriffs and Chiefs and the people seeking <br />the legislation. TPD does not have a lot of concerns about this. <br /> Has there been any additional fallout from the community from the <br />ICE detainer arrest? Not so far, we have been transparent and work <br />with concerned communities about what happens and what changes <br />the department has made. TPD is still carefully reviewing the call. <br /> Did the Tukwila City Council make any changes or adopt any <br />ordinances? Not yet, the Council is looking into it and has started the <br />process to enact an ordinance. <br /> Has the car in the river been removed? So far, the vehicle has not <br />been found in the river. The driver is in custody because he tried to <br />break into the pro shop at the golf course for dry clothes. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> COPCAB Project: <br /> Survey <br /> App for mobile and also through the Tukwila Web site <br /> Business cards <br /> A phone number/email to get a paper copy <br /> Volunteer teams to spread the word, two person teams <br /> Email of documents and ideas with a request for folks to send in <br />additional questions. <br /> <br /> Good of the Order <br /> <br /> John – UAS demonstration from TPD for the Civil Air Patrol He will <br />confirm with the Chief. <br /> Chris – CAP , required training to be sent out. <br /> Jerry – New Community Crime Mapping, is it launched yet? If so, how does <br />the public get to it. Will there be a Valley Com Academy soon? That is up to <br />VC. Does the PD subscribe to “Governing”? Rick will look into it. Does <br />TPD subscribe to the Gordon Graham videos? Yes.
