City Council approved a Master <br />Planning and Programming contract with SHKS Architects for $299,997 in September 2018. <br />Amendment No. 1 to this contract was for $16,500 to complete demolition specifications. <br />ANALYSIS <br />SHKS has completed the Master Planning effort and Phase 1 includes relocating the George Long <br />and Longacres operations to the Heiser Building. Divisions being relocated include facilities and fleet <br />operations, the Police vehicle impound yard, and the Longacres spoils site. Amendment No. 2 with <br />SHKS Architects will design the necessary improvements to the Heiser Building to include seismic <br />retrofit, interior and exterior improvements, upgrades to the HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and storm <br />drainage systems. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />Land Purchases <br />SOJ Contract <br />SHKS Contract 18-197 <br />SHKS Amendment No. 2 <br />SHKS 10% Contingency <br />Misc.
