5. New Business: <br />a. 2020 Retreat Planning β€” Arts Commissioners brainstormed a list of things that they would like to talk <br />about at the upcoming retreat. This list included: review of Artist in Resident recommendations, <br />Rotating Art Display program (process, stipends/reception), partnerships with organizations and <br />businesses, arts and culture programming, how to support artists in the community (workshops, paid <br />opportunities, mini -grants, etc.) and support of the Southcenter District Art Project. <br />6. Commission/Staff Report Outs: <br />Tracy Gallaway, Staff Liaison β€”The Mayor is recommending that Shawn Belyea be appointed to the Tukwila <br />Arts Commission. Shawn has spent 30 years as a professional theater artist, arts producer, and theater arts <br />educator in Seattle. He currently works for Cornish College of the Arts as a Resident Producer in the Theater <br />Department. <br />7. Other <br />8. Agenda for Next/Future Meeting: <br />9.
