d. They are owner -occupied vessels. <br />e. There are on -shore support services in proximity to the live-aboards. <br />L. Signs in Shoreline Jurisdiction. <br />1. Signage within the shoreline buffer is limited to the following: <br />a. Interpretative signs and restoration signage, including restoration <br />sponsor acknowledgment. <br />b. Signs for water -related uses. <br />c. Signs installed by a government agency for public safety along any <br />public trail or at any public park. <br />d. Signs installed within the rights of way of any public right-of-way or <br />bridge within the shoreline buffer. <br />e. Signs installed on utilities and wireless communication facilities denoting <br />danger or other safety information, including emergency contact information. <br />2. Billboards and other off -premise signs are strictly forbidden in the shoreline <br />buffer. <br />Section 21. TMC 18.44.060 is hereby reenacted to read as follows: <br />18.44.060 Vegetation Protection and Landscaping <br />A. Purpose. <br />1. The purpose of this section is to: <br />a. Regulate the protection of existing trees and native vegetation in the <br />shoreline jurisdiction; <br />b. Establish requirements for removal of invasive plants at the time of <br />development or re -development of sites; <br />c. Establish requirements for landscaping for new development or re- <br />development; <br />d. Establish requirements for the long-term maintenance of native <br />vegetation to prevent establishment of invasive species and promote shoreline <br />ecosystem processes. <br />2. The City's goal is to: <br />a.
