Exhibit "A" <br />Scope of Services <br />The Contractor shall help the City with outreach, business improvement and technical assistance to help <br />businesses with re -opening efforts impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. <br />Southside Promise: <br />The Contractor shall provide advocacy, technical assistance and support as well as marketing and <br />promotion to help businesses reopen safely and boost consumer confidence to support local businesses. <br />The Contractor shall provide the following services for the Southside Promise Campaign. <br />a) Promoting the Campaign. Contractor shall work with the city and other parities to issue <br />a press release announcing the campaign. The City shall be able to review and edit the <br />press release. The City will be listed as a sponsor or supporter or participant for the <br />campaign. <br />b) Business Outreach. The Contractor will invite Tukwila businesses to participate in the <br />Campaign in accordance with the city's desires. Manage campaign participants and <br />setting up a system to allow businesses to request technical assistance, such as the <br />"Safe Start Toolkits" online. Note, all Tukwila businesses are eligible for free <br />participation regardless of Chamber membership status. <br />c) Technical Assistance. The Contractor shall coordinate and provide technical free <br />assistance to any Tukwila businesses requesting assistance, regardless of Chamber <br />membership status Technical assistance will include information to assist businesses in <br />reopening and operating to meet public hearth COVID-19 requirements, adjusting their <br />business operations, and other assistance to provide support for businesses during the <br />COVID-19 pandemic. <br />d) Sponsorships. Contractor and City shall work to identify possible sponsors (both cash <br />and in -kind contributions). Potential sponsors shall be approved by both Contractor and <br />City. Contractor shall manage sponsorship agreements, acceptance of any funds from <br />the sponsor, and any other sponsorship management._ <br />e) Seattle Southside Campaign Management. The Contractor will provide staff and <br />volunteers to assist with managing any onsite campaign needs that may be necessary. <br />Including but not limited to: review of toolkit, management of reopening plans and <br />implementation, coordination with marketing and partners, etc. <br />f) Social media and photography. The Contractor will provide photographic services as <br />well as contribute social media content that meets the goals of the city to commemorate <br />the effort. The City shall have the rights to use any photography produced for the <br />campaign. <br />g) Marketing and Advertising. Contractor shall identify and execute opportunities to market <br />and promote the campaign. As appropriate, Contractor shall identify the City as a <br />sponsor of the campaign. <br />h) Webinar. Contractor shall produce a technical assistance webinar to assist businesses <br />with complying with COVID-19 reopening requirements. <br />i) Other Digital Initiatives. Contractor shall provide support for the City's SavingLocalKC <br />and Great Tukwila Carryout campaign. Support includes assisting securing press <br />coverage of SavingLocalKC, assisting businesses set up e-commerce platforms, and <br />promoting both SavingLocalKC and the Great Tukwila Carryout via the Contractor's <br />digital assets. <br />CA Revised May 2020 <br />Page 5 of 4 <br />53 <br />
