Fall Childcare and Family Support <br />August 18, 2020 <br />Page 3 <br />Option #2: Part Time Staff— 30 students in the program. <br />Expenses: Staff Costs $98,964.40 <br />Activity/Cleaning Supplies $ 8,500.00 <br />Total Expenses $107,464.00 <br />Revenue: 100% Cost Recovery <br />75% Cost Recovery <br />50% Cost Recovery <br />$107,490.00 ($895.75 monthly tuition per child) <br />$ 80,610.00 ($671.75 monthly tuition per child) <br />$ 53,760.00 ($448.00 monthly tuition per child) <br />Option #3: Contracted Agency — Minimum of 30 students in the program. In this option the contracted <br />agency would assume all staff and supply costs as well as receive the revenue associated with this <br />program. Tukwila Recreation Department would provide the space for the program and act as a liaison <br />with the community. <br />RECOM MENDATION <br />Staff recommends the Parks and Recreation Department offers school support and recreation to support <br />Tukwila families during the 2020-2021 school year and is recommending option #3 as detailed above.
