projects move forward. FHS construction project, receiving $ from the Washington State Arts <br />Commission for art on site. Dylan reported out on the Washington State Arts.... New construction at <br />the FHS qualifies for funding from the state arts commission. Cynthia and Dylan had a meeting w/ <br />several school administrator and the state. Together, they will brainstorm ideas and then consult <br />the WA State arts list for the group to select an artist that will be a good match for the project. <br />Considerable amount of $$ - The other thing that came out of the meeting —there were two <br />paintings completed by Bill Cumming — Cynthia was of the understanding that he donated the <br />paintings. Technically, the WA States Arts Commission owns the pieces. <br />Trisha Gilmore: The Rotating Art Wall committee would like to put out a call for artists the rotating <br />art program. The committee suggests offering a stipend for artists as there are expenses incurred to <br />display their art. A $250 stipend was suggested. The committee also suggesting offering the <br />opportunity for selected artists to offer a workshop to community members and providing a $150 <br />stipend if they choose to offer the workshop. Helen Enguerra motioned to provide $1000 in <br />stipends to artists annually who display on the rotating art wall. Pinky Estell seconded the motion <br />and the motion passed unanimously. <br />7. Adjournment: Trisha Gilmore motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:25 pm Cynthia Chesak seconded the <br />motion. The motion passed unanimously. <br />Next meeting: March 25, 2020 at Tukwila Community Center <br />
