City of Tukwi*14a <br />Washington <br />Resolution No. Z 0 1 --?- <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ESTABLISHING <br />THE TITLES, DUTIES, AND SCHEDULE OF THE <br />STANDING CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEES FOR <br />2021, AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 1982. <br />WHEREAS, RCW42.30.030 states thatall meetings of the governing bodyof a public <br />agency shall be open and public; and <br />WHEREAS, all persons shall be permitted to attend any meeting of the governing <br />body of a public agency; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to evaluate the standing committee framework <br />each year in an effort to appropriately balance the current policywork of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council strives to operate at the highest level of functionality <br />and efficiency; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is in compliance with the Governors Proclamation 20- <br />28 relating to the conductof public meetings during the COVID-1 9 State of Emergency in <br />Washington State; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, <br />WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Pursuantto City of Tukwila Ordinance No. 2024 and Tukwila Municipal <br />Code Section 2.04.180, there are four standing committees of the Council, consisting of <br />three members each. The Council President shall appoint the membership of each <br />committee and the Committee Chair by the second Regular Meeting of each year.
