Section 19. Corrections by City Clerk or Code Reviser. Upon approval of the City <br />Attorney, the City Clerk and the code reviser are authorized to make necessary <br />corrections to this ordinance, including the correction of clerical errors; references to other <br />local, state or federal laws, codes, rules, or regulations; or ordinance numbering and <br />section/ subsection numbering. <br />Section 20. Severability. This ordinance and the various parts thereof are hereby <br />declared to be severable. Should any section of this ordinance be declared by the courts <br />to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the ordinance <br />as a whole, or any portion thereof other than the section so declared to be unconstitutional <br />or invalid. <br />Section 21. Declaration of Emergency; Effective Date; Sunset. Based upon the <br />findings set forth above, the City Council hereby declares a public emergency requiring this <br />ordinance to take effect immediately, upon its passage by a majority plus one of the whole <br />membership of the City Council. This ordinance shall accordingly be in full force and effect <br />immediately upon passage and shall remain effective for a period of six months unless <br />terminated earlier or subsequently extended by the City Council. PROVIDED, that the City <br />Council may, in its sole discretion, renew the interim zoning regulations set forth herein for <br />one or more six month periods in accordance with state law.
