Citv of Tul lia <br />Washington <br />Resolution No. 2 6 3 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ESTABLISHING <br />THE TITLES, DUTIES, AND SCHEDULE OF THE <br />STANDING CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEES FOR <br />2023, AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 2044. <br />WHEREAS, RCW42.30.030 states that all meetings ofthe governing bodyof a public <br />agency shall be open and public; and <br />WHEREAS, all persons shall be permitted to attend any meeting of the governing <br />body of a public agency; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to evaluate the standing committee framework <br />each year in an effort to appropriately balance the current policy work of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council strives to operate at the highest level of functionality <br />and efficiency; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to conduct its standing committee meetings in <br />a hybrid format that allows both in-person and electronic attendance; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, <br />WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Pursuant to the Rules of Procedure of the Tukwila City Council, there are <br />four standing committees of the Council, consisting of three members each. The Council <br />President shall appoint the membership of each committee and the Committee Chair by <br />the second Regular Meeting of each year.
