Section 2. The 2023 Council Committee meeting schedule is established as follows: <br />1. Transportation and Infrastructure Services Committee meetings shall be <br />held on the first and third Monday of every month commencing at 5:30 p.m. This <br />Committee will provide policy recommendations on legislative matters relating to <br />transportation, traffic, streets, water, sewer, surface water, power, street lighting and <br />signals, solid waste and recycling, river basins and levees, aviation, telecommunications, <br />shops facilities, fleet, public transit, and other ad hoc matters as assigned. Meetings will <br />be held in the Duwamish conference room, 6300 Southcenter Boulevard, Tukwila, <br />Washington. Information on public participation via Microsoft Teams or by telephone will <br />be published on every agenda. <br />2. Planning and Community Development Committee meetings shall be <br />held on the first and third Monday of every month commencing at 5:30 p.m. This <br />Committee will provide policy recommendations on legislative matters relating to housing <br />policies and programs, planning and land use, annexations, building and development <br />regulations, code enforcement, economic development, tou rism, workforce development, <br />environment and sustainability, and other ad hoc matters as assigned. Meetings will be <br />held in the Hazelnut conference room, 6200 Southcenter Boulevard, Tukwila, <br />Washington. Information on public participation via Microsoft Teams or by telephone will <br />be published on every agenda. <br />3. Finance and Governance Committee meetings shall be held on the <br />second and fou rth Monday of every month commencing at 5:30 p.m. This Committee will <br />provide policy recommendations on legislative matters relating to financial management <br />and fiscal operations of the City, administrative services, insurance, personnel, <br />compensation, technology systems, government performance, public records, City <br />Halt/6300 Building,and otherad hoc matters as assigned. Meetings will be held in the <br />Duwamish conference room, 6300 Southcenter Boulevard, Tukwila, Washington. <br />Information on pu blic participation via Microsoft Teams and by telephone will be published <br />on every agenda. <br />4. Community Services and Safety Committee meetings shall be held on the <br />second and fourth Monday of every month commencing at 5:30 p.m. This Committee will <br />provide policy recommendations on legislative matters relating to police, fire, emergency <br />services, municipal court, public safety facilities, animals, community engagement, <br />human services, parks, recreation, trails, youth and senior services, golf course, <br />community center, library, public art, social equity and justice, and other ad hoc matters <br />as assigned. Meetings will be held in the Hazelnut conference room, 6200 South center <br />Boulevard, Tukwila, Washington. Information on public participation via Microsoft Teams <br />or by telephone will be published on every agenda. <br />Section 3. In the event a holiday falls on a Monday, there will be no Council <br />Committee meetings during thatweek.
