PC Meeting <br />2/23/23 <br />Page 2 <br />There was extensive discussion regarding PC allowing the public the opportunity to give verbal general <br />public comments during all PC meetings. Chair Sidhu stated it is at the discretion of the PC Chair/PC to <br />allow verbal general public comments. <br />Motion <br />Commissioner Teague moved to adopt the two proposed revisions to the bylaws. Commissioner <br />Martinez moved to second the motion. Motion passed. <br />Policy and Content Amendments for Comprehensive Plan <br />Staff provided explanation of the purpose and intent of consolidating Plan elements and policies, <br />including the sub -areas for the land use element. They also noted the schedule for the upcoming <br />PC review of the plan. And the expectations for moving through the material if the PC is to stick <br />to a largely once -a -month meeting schedule. <br />Review of Upcoming Work Program <br />Staff walked through the schedule and noted the next steps. Community outreach will ramp up in the <br />summer. <br />Director's Report <br />- No report from staff. <br />- The PC raised issues and asked questions regarding various streamlining processes. <br />Chair Sidhu asked for a motion to adjourn.
