Section 2. The 2024 City Council Committee meeting schedule is established as
<br />follows:
<br />1. Community Services and Safety Committee meetings shall be held on the
<br />second Monday of every month commencing at 5:30 p.m. This Committee will provide
<br />policy recommendations on legislative matters relating to police, fire, emergency services,
<br />municipal court, public safety facilities, animals, community engagement, human
<br />services, parks, recreation, youth and senior services, golf course, community center,
<br />library, public art, social equity and justice, and other ad hoc matters as assigned.
<br />Meetings will be held in the Hazelnut conference room, 6200 Southcenter Boulevard,
<br />Tukwila, Washington. Information on public participation via Microsoft Teams or by
<br />telephone will be published on every agenda.
<br />2. Planning and Community Development Committee meetings shall be
<br />held on the second Monday of every month commencing at 5:30 p.m. This Committee
<br />will provide policy recommendations on legislative matters relating to housing policies and
<br />programs, planning and land use, annexations, building and development regulations,
<br />code enforcement, economic development, tourism, workforce development,
<br />environment and sustainability, and other ad hoc matters as assigned. Meetings will be
<br />held in the Duwamish conference room, 6300 Southcenter Boulevard, Tukwila,
<br />Washington. Information on public participation via Microsoft Teams or by telephone will
<br />be published on every agenda.
<br />3. Finance and Governance Committee meetings shall be held on the fourth
<br />Monday of every month commencing at 5:30 p.m. This Committee will provide policy
<br />recommendations on legislative matters relating to financial management and fiscal
<br />operations of the City, administrative services, insurance, personnel, compensation,
<br />technology systems, government performance, public records, City Hal1/6300 Building,
<br />and other ad hoc matters as assigned. Meetings will be held in the Hazelnut conference
<br />room, 6200 Southcenter Boulevard, Tukwila, Washington. Information on public
<br />participation via Microsoft Teams and by telephone will be published on every agenda.
<br />4. Transportation and Infrastructure Services Committee meetings shall be
<br />held on the fourth Monday of every month commencing at 5:30 p.m. This Committee will
<br />provide policy recommendations on legislative matters relating to transportation, traffic,
<br />streets, water, sewer, surface water, power, street lighting and signals, solid waste and
<br />recycling, river basins and levees, aviation, telecommunications, shops facilities, fleet,
<br />public transit, and other ad hoc matters as assigned. Meetings will be held in the
<br />Duwamish conference room, 6300 Southcenter Boulevard, Tukwila, Washington.
<br />Information on public participation via Microsoft Teams or by telephone will be published
<br />on every agenda.
<br />Section 3. The full City Council will convene in work session meetings to discuss
<br />varying topics on the first and third Monday of every month commencing at 5:30 p.m.
