City of Tukwila <br />Planning Commission <br />Planning Commission (PC) and <br />Board of Architectural Review (BAR) Minutes <br />Date: September 22, 2011 <br />Time: 6:30 PM <br />Location: City Hall Council Chambers <br />Present: Thomas McLeod, Vice Chair, Commissioners, Louise Strander, Mike Hansen, and Jeri <br />Frangello- Anderson <br />Absent: Brooke Alford, Chair, Commissioners, David Shumate, and Aaron Hundtofte <br />Staff: Nora Gierloff, Deputy DCD Director, Stacy MacGregor, Assistant Planner, and Wynetta Bivens, <br />Planning Commission Secretaiy <br />Vice -Chair McLeod opened the public hearing at 6:30 PM. <br />Minutes: Commissioner Strander made a motion to adopt the August 25, 2011 minutes. Commissioner <br />Hansen seconded the motion. The motion ivas unanimously approved. <br />Vice -Chair McLeod swore in those wishing to provide testimony. <br />BOARD OF ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW PUBLIC HEARING <br />CASE NUMBER: L08 -051, Design Review <br />APPLICANT: Steve Detiviller, of ReHabitat Northwest <br />REQUEST: Development of a cottage housing project consisting of 30 compact single family- <br />homes with frontage improvements, landscaping, site design, and including a new <br />parking configuration for the Riverton United Methodist Church. <br />LOCATION: At the northeast corner of Militaiv Road and South 140 Street. She asked the Planning Commissioners the Appearance of Fairness questions and no one had any <br />objections to any of the Commissioners hearing the two projects.
