Corridor <br />All controllers within each junsdiction will communicate over a fiber bundle owned by <br />that agency, separate from other agencies' controllers, back to the communication hub <br />All equipment will be routed to the County's central system server, located within the <br />King County Traffic Control Center (TCC), to allow for advanced traffic management <br />along the Comdor, 1 e Traffic Responsive and Adaptive Traffic Control <br />Equipment within the Corridor communication hub will allow Renton to reroute Renton <br />owned controllers to the Renton Traffic Management Center (TMC) via fiber optic cable <br />installed along Oaksdale Avenue <br />Equipment within the Comdor communication hub will allow Tukwila to reroute <br />Tukwila owned controllers to the Tukwila Traffic Management Center (TMC) via fiber <br />optic cable installed along Andover Park East. <br />Arterial and intersection surveillance installed using video cameras and loop detectors <br />Transit Priority Request (TPR) equipment will be installed at two intersections within <br />Tukwila to allow transit signal pnonty to be offered. <br />Design of the project will provide each agency the ability to control the network <br />remotely <br />Renton and Tukwila will receive Actra workstations <br />Tukwila will be given access to the County's regional TPR server <br />2. COUNTY RESPONSIBILITIES <br />2 1 The County is the lead agency for the Project and is the lead agency with regard to <br />design, right -of -way acquisition, construction, NEPA review, permitting, ISTEA <br />funding and all other matters pertinent to the accomplishment of the Scope of Work. <br />The Cities shall provide all necessary penults for that portion of the Project within <br />their jurisdiction It is desirable to have necessary permits issued at no cost to the <br />County <br />2 1 1 The County will provide 30 60 and 90% plans and specifications to the <br />Cities for review The Cities will provide written comments, if any, to the <br />County within fourteen days after the Cities receive the plans and <br />specifications <br />2 1 2 The final design shall be mutually agreed upon by the Parties <br />2 2 The County shall be responsible for all costs associated with the Project, subject to <br />Renton's $50 000 commitment as described in Section 3 3 <br />2 3 The County shall be responsible for coordinating the public information and <br />involvement process and shall meet with the Cities to develop the Public Involvement <br />Plan The Cities shall be given the opportunity to attend and participate in any public <br />meetings <br />2 4 The Parties shall appoint a contact person or persons to act as a liaison for the Project. <br />2 <br />
