more than once for the same hours under any provision of the Agreement. <br />For the purposes of FLSA compliance, the Employer reserves the right to <br />maintain and modify, as necessary, work period designations for different <br />shifts in accordance with FLSA 207(k). For example, this includes different <br />work periods for different shifts (e.g. a 28 day work period for employees on <br />a 5-2 or 4-10 or 12 hour work schedules). <br />SECTION 4.2 SCHEDULES. <br />A. Hours of Work <br />1. Patrol Division - 12-Hour Work Schedule <br />Such schedule shall be three (3) consecutive twelve (12) hour <br />days worked followed by four (4) consecutive days off <br />followed by four (4) consecutive twelve (12) hour days worked <br />followed by three (3) consecutive days off during each <br />fourteen (14) day period. The FLSA work period shall be 28 <br />days. <br />2. Non -Patrol Schedule <br />The work schedule for Association employees assigned to <br />non -patrol work will be the equivalent of forty (40) hours per <br />week on an annualized basis and the normal work hours shall <br />be four (4) consecutive ten (10) hour days worked followed by <br />three (3) consecutive days off during each seven day work <br />period. <br />3. Meal/Break Period <br />Schedules shall be inclusive of the meal period. Sergeants <br />assigned to Patrol on 12-hour shifts will be allowed to take rest <br />or meal breaks, duties permitting, as two 30-minute meal <br />breaks and two fifteen -minute rest breaks.
