Staffing <br />The following policy will be adhered to except when unusual <br />occurrences create increased staffing needs (e.g. civil disorder, <br />national disaster, holiday, significant event, etc.) <br />1. Staffing levels <br />The Chief agrees to discuss any staff configuration changes with the <br />Association prior to making any long-term adjustments in staffing <br />levels. The Association recognizes the ultimate right of the Chief to <br />adjust staff levels within the department. <br />2. Staffing Administration <br />Current on duty staffing levels for patrol on each shift is one (1) <br />supervisor and six (6) officers up to two (2) hours prior to the shift, <br />with the following exceptions: <br />a.
