SECTION 12.2 Vacation Rules. Annual vacations shall be subject to the <br />following rules: <br />A. Minimum. The minimum vacation allowance to be taken by an <br />employee shall be 15 minutes. <br />B. Agreement. Vacations shall be granted at such times that are <br />mutually agreeable to both the Employer and employee. <br />C. Terminology. Temporary or intermittent employees who leave the <br />employment of the City and later are re-employed shall, for the purpose <br />of this Article, commence their actual service with the date of re- <br />employment. <br />For the purpose of this Article, "actual service" shall be determined in <br />the same manner as for salary purposes. <br />D. Maximum. Maximum hours accumulations of vacation time shall not <br />exceed that which is equal to two years total at the highest eligible rate. <br />E. Pay upon death. On the death of an employee in active service, pay <br />will be allowed for any vacation earned in the preceding year and in the <br />current year and not taken prior to the death of such employee. <br />F. Leave of Absence. An employee granted an extended leave of <br />absence, which includes the next succeeding calendar year, shall be <br />given pro -rated vacation earned in the current year before being <br />separated from the payroll. <br />ARTICLE 13 - PENSIONS <br />SECTION 13.1 Pension benefits shall be received in accordance with RCW <br />41.26 as currently in effect. <br />29 <br />203 <br />
